Griffith Centers Announces 37th Annual Peak Challenge to Support Underserved Youth
Colorado – June 2025 — Griffith Centers is proud to announce the return of its iconic summer event, the 37th Annual Peak Challenge, uniting climbers, advocates, and communities to champion a brighter future for Colorado’s youth.
Each year, teams of climbers take on one of Colorado’s legendary 14’ers in a symbolic and physical show of support for underserved youth facing behavioral, emotional, and mental health challenges. More than a hike, the Peak Challenge is a movement—amplifying awareness, breaking down stigma, and directly funding programs that provide hope and healing to the children and families served by Griffith Centers.
“Join us for the 37th Annual Peak Challenge and support underserved youth in our communities. Together, we can champion hope, healing, and a brighter future for kids,” says Lori Patton O’Hara, Development and Marketing Coordinator.
Proceeds from the event go directly to critical services such as trauma-informed therapy, mentorship programs, residential treatment, foster care support, and outdoor experiential learning—giving youth the tools they need to overcome adversity and thrive.
As we look ahead to this summer’s adventure, we invite individuals, corporate teams, and community partners to be part of the journey. Whether you’re scaling a summit or supporting basecamp, every step you take helps elevate the lives of underserved youth.
Let’s climb together—one step, one summit, one life at a time.
