How Donations Are Used

Just to name a few

  • Your support will go towards providing key resources to various programs such as Foster Care, Youth Development, Education Services, and Residential Treatment.
  • Several of our clients benefit from our A.S.K. Truancy Program is designed to provide critical resources to keep kids in school and prevent them from dropping due to extraordinary circumstances.
  • The Griffith Kitchen program provides young adults and teens the opportunity to learn and experience the culinary arts. Your donation will be critical in providing the opportunity to learn under accomplished chefs and gain life skills as well as future job placements within the program.


How much of my donation is going directly to people in need?

85% of our donations go back to the clients we serve.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Griffith Centers, Inc. is a non-profit organization exempt from federal income taxation under IRC 501(c)(3). Donations are tax-deductible for United States citizens. For donors outside of the United States, please consult with your tax advisor to determine whether your donation is tax-deductible.

Does Griffith Centers issue tax receipts?

Yes, you will receive a charitable tax receipt for income tax purposes. The tax receipt is sent to you as an e-mail attachment to avoid administrative and mailing costs. This ensures that 100 % of your donation will go towards our programs. However, if you would prefer that a receipt be mailed to you, this request can be accommodated.

When can I expect my receipt?

You will receive your tax receipt immediately upon Griffith Center’s receipt of your donation.

I don't have much money. Can I still help?

Yes! Even the smallest of contributions can help our clients and families with critical resources such as school supplies, backpacks, clothes, and meals.

Does Griffith Centers sell, rent or trade donor information to other agencies?

No! Griffith Centers, Inc. values your support, and we are committed to protecting your privacy. We will not cede or sell your data for commercial use, or for any use that is not directly linked to our activities or to the use for which you have entered the data.

Can I make a donation by check?

You may submit a donation to Griffith Centers, Inc. via electronic check on the online donation page. You may alternatively submit a check by postal mail, and it may be converted to an ACH debit.
